Exciting News! Winter Wonderland Weekends!

Our wonderful friends at the Ravalli County History Museum have generously allowed us to use their facility for the month of January! This will allow us to continue offering the magic of the Winter Wonderland exhibit to families every Thursday-Sunday that month! 


Here is a brief overview of some of the concepts we have incorporated into the Winter Wonderland exhibit:


  • The Science behind the Snow: Snowflake symmetry, Roman Arches and the Strength of an Igloo, Montana Animals in the Winter, the Subnivian Zone, and more
  • Arts and crafts projects; some that will change weekly
  • Story times, winter yoga, and more
  • Indoor sock-skating and snowball games


Operating hours will be Thurs-Sat. 10am-5pm, and 10am-2pm on Sundays. There will be an admission of $3/person, under 2 are free. If families are SNAP/EBT/WIC eligible, they will receive free admission for their immediate family members.

Welcome and Rules

When you check in, we will go over all the important info and ask for a signature acknowledging you and your group will help us keep the museum experience wonderful for everyone.

WIC/EBT/SNAP Card Holders

If you receive WIC/EBT/SNAP benefits, we will ask to see your card and a valid ID to receive free admission. If the cardholder is not present, we kindly request a proxy form be filled out indicating those authorized to use your card.

Ravalli County History Museum Address and Access

205 N. Bedford St. Hamilton


General street parking is available. 


The museum is ADA compliant; there is an ADA ramp on the south side of the building and an elevator for access to the second floor.

Winter WOW!

We will be hosting additional winter-themed programs on Saturdays during our Winter Wonderland Weekends, including story times, STEM activities and exploration, special guest presentations about Montana wildlife, and more! Follow us on social media to find out what we have planned!

January Music & Movement Class

Location:   Rock 'n Play, 116 Valley View St. , Stevi

Date:  Saturday, January 24th @ 10am -noon

Cost: by donation

Children must have a grown up in attendance; no child drop-offs permitted
